4th of July (which was actually celebrated on the 3rd of July) was an exciting and fun filled event this year at our house.
One of the not so fun parts was Claire falling down in the backyard and getting a bloody nose. What a good patient she was. She even let her Dad take a picture of her misadventure.
Plenty of Ooooooo's and Ahhhhhhh's.
Lucy with her sparkler, which made her grandmother extremely nervous! What you don't see is the adults hovering right next to all the grandkids while they waved around their little arson sticks!

Ansley had fallen asleep after enjoying a full day of running around and swimming with the other grandkids. Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture of her. It was a wonderful day with every one of my grandchildren and children in attendance.
