Good Bye Old Friends!

Remember the wheelchair? I do!!! Frankly, I don't think I will miss it, even though for a while it was my best friend.

Other artifacts from the past year. My ever stylish boot (worn at important events such as my son's wedding). The sling....who could forget the sling. That was for my rotator cuff repair that was done five days after Chris' wedding. At least I didn't have to wear it that day! And, perhaps my favorite, my handicap pass. That I will miss, although I don't miss the reason that I needed it.

My friend and torturer extraordinaire, Joe. He was my physical therapist, who really is a nice man, but is trained in the fine art of extracting any sensitive information out of the most hardened war criminal. Send him to Abu Grave. He'll get all of the terrorists plans for the next decade. I'll miss talking to him, but I'm glad I don't need his special services anymore. I must say, it is kind of like childbirth. You just have to somehow get through it to be able to enjoy any kind of normal life again, and thanks to Joe, I can!
