I'm baaaaaackkkk! My mom recently had her 80th birthday and we threw her a great birthday bash!
It started with secretly bringing my Aunt Connie and my sister-in-law Carol from Utah. They flew into Oakland so of course, we first had to see San Francisco. We went on a bay cruise, then went across the Golden Gate Bridge.

I took them to the Palace of Fine Arts, which was a place they had never even heard of before.

We took pictures north of the bridge.

Lombard street is a must see.

Then we went home and prepared for the party. My mom belongs to a folk dancing group from Fresno who were some of the special guests that were invited. They organized a special dance for the night of the party. Here you can see mom enjoying the 'chicken dance' one of her favorites.
